Eco-design for packaging and products

Having first set up a working group to look at packaging eco-design, we are now training our teams to analyse the life cycle and eco-design of products.

Life cycle analysis

We have been leading an international inter-professional working group for a number of years in the life cycle analysis (LCA) of a range of generic dairy products.

More recently, we have embarked on an eco-design project with the support of a firm of experts, resulting in LCAs on three consumer product lines.

Team training

Also in terms of eco-design, we have started training teams in how to carry out LCA analyses. The ultimate goal is to set up and deploy a product eco-design system for all our ranges, starting with the Paysan Breton line, to be in place by the end of 2025.

Less packaging, more recyclables

To bring our packaging into line with the circular economy, we are making all our packaging recyclable and using recycled materials. Reducing it at source is our main priority.
