A great profession to be perpetuated

“Following on from my parents, we’re continuing our entrepreneurial journey with Even, a well-established cooperative that we can count on. Our milk technician told us all about an entry scheme that’s helped us as young members of the cooperative. We rely on Even to use our 800,000 litres of milk in their brands, mostly Paysan Breton. The induction day, ‘Bien dans ma Coop’ (being part of my Coop) gave us a better understanding of the links that operate upstream and downstream, and the Group’s overall strategy. There were opportunities to talk to the administrators and other young people experiencing the same problems as us. It was friendly and informative. In spite of everything you hear in the media about the problems that farmers are now facing, I’m convinced there’s a bright future for dairy farming. We need to encourage young people to get involved by telling them about the great work we do.”
