Mégane first discovered Laïta on a student visit, then joined the company in 2018 as Industrial Performance Project Leader. She organises many different types of project, all of them fascinating.
From healthcare to food
Mégane started her career in the healthcare sector and worked as a quality coordinator in hospitals for two years, where she discovered a passion for managing cross-functional projects.
Then an opportunity came up at Laïta, a company she knew from a visit she’d made as a student. Mégane joined the Cooperative on a fixed-term contract in 2018 as a quality coordinator, and a permanent contract followed a year later when she was appointed as an industrial performance project leader.
Finding perfect harmony
Mégane’s work coordinating various programmes and projects is like conducting an orchestra, helping teams to achieve a common objective. “I try to get everyone working together and achieve perfect harmony between experts, departments and occupations,” she explains.
She steers different types of projects such as buildings organisation, managing regulations, technology and environmental concerns. The thing she likes best about her work is its practical benefits; her job involves making sure that every member of the project team is listened to and understood, and that everyone works together towards a common goal.
I love my work because it’s useful, in that I help my colleagues to move forward together, which also makes life easier for them.
